Basic Caps began in 2025, when two friends and former coworkers with a passion for vintage headwear realized there was a gap in the market for bespoke, made-in-USA custom ball caps. With their knowledge of both on-field historical and in-store fashion headwear, along with their combined decades of experience in the apparel industry, they started Basic Caps.
